What makes a true gamer?

True Gamer: Hardware or Skill

This question is being asked since beginning of time of commercial gaming. Well, since I started gaming in the 3rd grade I wanted to know this that what makes a true gamer. In the following section Light is going to be shed on some modern day scenarios.."DUH!" that will help me and if you reading this you too will understand what makes a 'Gamer' a 'TRUE GAMER'.

What is a gamer?

1. The answer is much more cooler then its sounds and it sounds cool. A gamer is someone who plays games on a regular basis as a hobby or a profession. When we say a 'Gamer' we are necessarily saying the game that is being played is not outside, we are talking about video games.
2. A gamer can be anyone with any sort of system. Be it a Personal Computer or a Console. Anyone can be a gamer as long as he loves what he does.

Is the hardware important?

Depending on the system, hardware is important. Needless to say its necessary, ...but WHAT KIND?
When it comes to consoles, we all know that they exist for a very long time. And that single console will allow you to play games every year for a very long haul. Depending on the games their might be issues but basically, if you buying a current generation console your gaming needs will be satisfied for years to come with no change in hardware. Buy a console and wait for 7-8 years and you are gold until then.
The tricky part comes when it is the question of PC. You need a nice system to play modern games. But considering that most of the modern games don't use much of the brain power most of the people stick with the old games and are OK with that. But are they? There are several games if not most that require skill but at the same time require a crazy-ass hardware. Blame it on bad optimization but needless to say they require a good hardware to play it without hindrance or for us gamer-s  "Crazy fucking Lag" or "Death". Anyway, hardware seems important but as long as you can play without lag its useless to spend a fuckton of money. Hardware lets us appreciate the full beauty of the game sure but, whats the point if the gamer is a guy with head up his bung-hole. Games can be played without lag on not so high'end systems without lags with tons of mods and not so high settings. So what's the rush? Some developers are unfair as fuck when making games. Looks aren't everything in game but they hold a lot of value. Some games maybe not much polished but playable with gorgeous beauty can make someone enjoy... Mostly old people!

What is a True Gamer?

When we come down to it, a true gamer is the true appreciator of art. Maybe a game looks good maybe not, maybe its graphics are much better then its gameplay, maybe it has bugs but it has its charm. A true gamer finds fun in everything. even the most trashy game on the fuckin planet has something good to offer" Yes I am looking at you COD". A true gamer trolls other gamers and have fun with them and When their is still no bad blood after that, THAT is a true gamer. The guy you can't bore!
