Weird ideas in weird places.

Have you ever had an itch on your balls that gave you an Idea?

Well, have you? I guessed that. Its yes right? Let's discuss about the weird places people became legends and how today we try to emulate that same train of thought for just that billion buck idea that just might make our day.

1. Isaac newton's gravitational force idea:-
                                                                                     We all know this one. Our favorite accidental scientist. In year 1666, or as Sir Isaac Newton call it the miraculous year gravity was observed for the first time by this great man. After being mauled by a falling apple he discovered if earth is round then something might be keeping everything including us and the apple bound to this planet. How delightful! This discovery turned out to be the base of almost every mechanical engineering topic as well our health estimate. Who would have thought that an apple on a scientist can redefine the planet.
   
                        
   
2.  The Microwave:-                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                                       This one is fun. Percy Spencer, a WW1 veteran and an engineering genius who loved to mess around , fiddle, stroke, spoon...ahem! with  magnetron rays discovered some strange sensation in his pants. NO! No! he didn't get a hard on. Much to my sadness. He He! It would have made a good joke. Anyway, he felt the chocolate in his pants start to melt. He blamed the magnetron rays for that. His head sparked with idea and he found its usage in the culinary way. I would just bake cats in it!                    
   
   
   
   
3.    The X-Ray:-  
                                                                                       
                 This one was not so interested at first glance until I got into my "perv mode". In 1895, Germany Physicist Wilhelm Roentgen While performing a routine experiment using cathode rays observed a fluorescent cardboard from across the room. There was a thick screen between the cardboard and the cathode ray source, making him realize that light is passing through the solid object. Hence, X ray was discovered. the first thing he did was X-raying his wife's hand. Its Nice if you think about it, but what if you could actually create cathode rays from the eye giving you X-ray vision. This takes me back, when My cat used to stare at me.

I shoved her in the microwave anyway.                                                                                                                                            The above three are legends, will be legends. Now, let's look at some stupid discoveries that ended up big anyway.  
    
4. Planking:-                                                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     In the year 1994, a comedian named Tom Green played a dead guy by just lying down on Ottawa sidewalk without moving. Never understood this phrase. I mean how does one lie down while walking!! pfft! ANYWAY!! that video never showed up on MTV. Except they show far more weird and disturbing things these days. i am going off topic again. This video is uploaded in 2011                                                                                                                                                             This guy is funny to start it all but who knew that it would grow so big that my trainer will start torturing me by making me do it in the gym. there are way more stupid places the planks are being done.

5. Twerking:-
                                                                                                                                   On march 2013 during an award ceremony. Miley Cyrus performed a twerk dance routine that was embarrassingly sexy, at-least for me. This was not the point that twerking came into picture. It was the time it became more of a phenomenon according to my knowledge. And then there was a barrage of twerk Vines , videos and everyone was just getting on with popularity due to its viral nature. Accept this guy of course
                                                    Its still cool if you give some thought to that. These things are getting popular and some would say devolving the humanity. I kinda enjoy watching them but doing is just gonna strain my fat-ass. Well, its the human way....soon it will be this -
                                                  There are several other such trends that I want to and will talk about in my future blogs. Crazy as they may be they are still ideas and ideas are cool! And one of these days I am really hoping that someone invents time travel by accident so I can go in the past and play with my self.
